(Leading Energy Personality Award 2016) "It is not often that people who contribute substantially in any sector silently with a low profile get recognition either in the government or in the private sector. The credit and spotlight are invariably on those who are either media savvy in addition to their commitment or who are recognised by the government. There are also self serving media managers who confer awards for benefits support from the companies. It was a refreshing change to see Council of Power Utilities considering suitable persons for the Awards. It is heartening that the awards also enjoy a high credibility in power sector."

It was indeed a great surprise when informed about being conferred this Award.
